Are you already a donor?

The majority of Finns have a positive attitude towards the work of organizations and show it by participating or supporting the activities of associations with donations. You are one of them - thank you.

The majority of Finns support or participate in association activities in one way or another: For example, they occasionally donate money to fundraisers, give donations in the form of goods or do volunteer work. The most popular donation targets include helping the most vulnerable in Finland, as well as humanitarian aid and disasters. Helping the elderly, protecting the environment and animals, and treating and preventing diseases are also popular targets for support. Associations and foundations receive approximately 200 million euros in monetary donations annually. Many thanks to all donors; with your help, important work is being done.

In Finland, private individuals have a limited right to deduct donations from their taxes. Donations to science, art and culture are partially deductible for organizations. More information about tax deductions for donations can be found in the Finnish Tax Administration or in VaLa news.
